Ibrahim discovered techno music in 1990, after stumbling across the legendary "abstract dance" and "outer limits" radio shows hosted by colin dale and colin faver.
Soon after he persuaded his parents to buy him a cheap Yamaha drum machine an he began his first experiments in making electronica. Hooking up with Russ Gabriel from "Ferox Records" to record " The Unknown EP " for the UK's Solid Records.
Restless, he traded the drum machine in for some Technics 1200´s and began dj´ing at some of the UK´s best loved techno events, such as Eurobeat 2000, Analog City, Absolute and his own notorious "V>E>R>T>E>X>" club night in Brighton.
In 1995 Alfa met with Brighton´s Cristian Vogel and joined his Brighton based "No-Future" collective of music and media producers.
Soon after turning 18 Ibrahim began work on what would be his second EP "Methods of Signal Analysis" for Vogel Si Begg´s Mosquito label, (he would go onto record a further 2 records for the cult Brighton imprint).
In the following years Alfa recorded numerous EPs for label such as R+S, Force Inc, Mutter, Hoerspielmusik, Eukatech, Solid among many others.
In 1998 a collaboration with long time friend and fellow Brighton resident Justin Berkovi led to the launch og "Nightrax" label, initially set up as an outlet for Berkovi and Alfa´s productions, the increasingly abstract direction in which Alfa´s music was heading led to an amicable split after the second release leading to Alfa founding the shadowy "Black Ops. Corporation" with its second project being the record label "Automatic".
Thru the late 90´s Alfa continued performing live, in his own "unique" manner thrue out europe, in 2000 Alfa formed the plans for another addition to "Black Ops" which became known as "Semi-Automatic". Now with a growing stable of some of the most forward thinking artists from around the globe, the labels have constantly outputted fresh ideas.
In November 2000 Alfa was contacted by the belgian label "R+S" with the request to follow up 1999´s "Forever EP" with an LP, by the fall of 2000 had compiled what insiders beleive to be his best work to date, but with the apparent collapse of "R+S" in 2002 means that the 16 tracks of "Remote Control" may never be heard...
The future sees EP´s for labels such as Pro-Jex, Mental Ind., Boogizm, Predicaments, Neue Heimat, Automatic, Semi-Automatic, Force Inc, Input-Output to name but a few as well as LP´s for Source and Pro-Jex remixes for labels including Chan´n´Mikes, AMC, Input-Output.

DE-BUG REVIEW:
Alfa Electronics - La Violencia

Sehr abwechslungsreiche Platte.
